Zachary J. Feinstein
Since Zachary was a child he took to restaurants like a fish to water. With no one in his family in the industry he learned from working in almost every position one can hold in a restaurant from pizza box folder to global director. Attending The University of Central Florida's Rosen School of Hospitality Management Zachary laid the ground work to what would be a fulfilling career in the industry.
Post Graduation Zachary moved back to his hometown of Dunedin, FL to work for the Bon Appetit Restaurant Group as the Assistant General Manager of the companies flagship location Bon Appetit. A short year later an oppotunity arose to work in corporate america for the Burger King Corporation.
At Burger King Zachary started as an Operations Trainee, learning the in's and out's of the fast food industry. He excelled in his class of fellow trainees resulting in his promotion to District Manager, the first promotion of it's kind in the companies history. As a District Manager Zachary Managed between 6-12 restaurants and quickly became the top District Manager in the Company, here he learned large scale management of people and finances. Burger King once again recognized Zachary and once again promoted him to the position of Director of Field Projects for Global Operations, a position created by the company for him. In the Director Role Zachary analyzed large scale operators' businesses and gave recommendations and action plans to turn their operations around through Six Sigma and Lean management techniques. He reported directly to the Chief Operations Officer of the company. Although Zachary was enjoying his role, on June 30th of 2014 he decided it was time to venture out on his own, purchasing The Black Pearl of Dunedin. At the age of 25, this made Zachary the youngest restaurateur in West Florida.
Zachary worked the rest of his year with Burger King and the rest is history. His vision is to build a large scale restaurant corporation focused on 4 brands. If you're at the restaurants there is a great chance you'll see him there hard at work!
